Remember those curtains I started almost a year ago?
No? Didn't think so.
Well, I've finally finished them.
I embroidered the flower pattern onto each of the four corners of two white curtians. Tedious? Yes, but I think the effect is very pretty.

They’re just gorgeous! All the time you took to finish them was well worth it-I'm sure they'll look lovely from whatever window you choose to hang them from. :)
OH WOW! They're even more lovely than I had imagined from when you first started talking about them. I'm very bad with a sewing needle and thread, so I can only gape in admiration.

Beautiful! I love the delicate detail. Did you use ribbon or embroidery floss?
I actually used both embroidery floss and ribbon. I used the floss for the stems and ribbon for everything else (leaves, petals, flower center).
I'd love to experiment with the silk ribbon they sell specifically for ribbon embroidery - it's just a little too pricey for me at the moment! : )
